On June 11th, 2007 Person to Person Ministries Director, Kerry Allen left for a mission trip to Brazil. God blessed with safe travels and fruitful labors for the kingdom. During his eleven day trip, he spoke at the "ACTUALIZATION OF THEOLOGY" Convention in Taguatinga, Igreja De Cristo (Church of Christ) in Brasilia, and the Seminary in Brasilia.

The convention is an annual event held in central Brazil. In 2007 approximately 500 people attended, with over 200 ministers registered from thirteen (of 27) states. The convention theme was "MAKE DISCIPLES." Second generation missionary Jeff Fife was the interpreter. The brethren indicated they were greatly challenged and encouraged by the messages Kerry preached, and numerous people made public decisions to be more faithful disciples of Christ.

The church in Brasilia has an attendance of around 400. They have an enthusiastic assembly with very expressive singing and passionate praying. They were very responsive to the preaching of the gospel and many decisions were made for Christ. Native Brazilian Francisco Leite was the interpreter.

This trip served to strengthen and encourage brethren and to preach evangelistically. It was refreshing to preach to audiences totally uninhibited in their responsiveness to the good news of the gospel. And it was exciting to see the reward of faithful missionary labors as most of the church leaders were nationals.

God has poured out His blessings again on Person to Person by allowing our ministry to extend into South America. Many requests were made for Kerry to return and go other places to preach in Brazil. Other contacts were made with opportunities to take our ministry even into Africa. No one knows the future, but it appears inevitable that the international outreach of Person to Person Ministries is going beyond what was ever thought. Thanks to all who helped make this trip possible by your prayers and financial support.
